Budapest Scientologists Celebrate 10 Years on Váci Road

Nearly 500 Scientologists gathered in Budapest to mark the tenth anniversary of the Budapest Ideal Organization on Váci Road.

Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary included a religious service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and a review of past achievements and future Budapest activities.

Over its first ten years, the Budapest church has also hosted community programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education to humanitarian and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
